Vermont Natural Coatings Hydro Lacquer with PolyWhey® is a grain enhancing sealer that resembles a warm oil look for floors, furniture, and all other interior woods. Finally, an effective alternative to hazardous solvent-based finishes. Hydro Lacquer is made with Decovery® plant-based resins. This product is part of Vermont Natural Coatings Climate Cool program.

Vermont Natural Coatings describes the product as a sealer but it is more of an undercoat that gives the wood luster and brings out the grain. If this is applied in an area that will receive significant handling or traffic, it ishould be top-coated with the Vermont Natural Coatings Furniture Finish or Floor Finish. 

Hydro Lacquer is a USDA Certified Biobased Product. By using renewable, bio based materials, we can displace the need for non-renewable petroleum-based chemicals.
