Barr's version of the "Slick" does justice to the venerable art and craft of timber framing. This heavy, well-made tool looks good and cuts extremely well. It may even be worthy of the display above the mantel. This "large" Barr Slick is a big heavy tool - it may even be a little too big for some timber framers. You may want to consider the slightly smaller version or possibly our favorite Japanese Slick
